DALLAS CHALK HILL TRESTLE

HISTORY & INFORMATION

The creepy and heart stopping “Chalk Hill Trestle,” is a 25 foot high structure used for train tracks back in the day. It was abandoned in 1990 but the structure still remains, with the city only demolishing the ladders and areas of the trestle that could help people get to the top. Very overgrown with wildlife and a large abundance of burrs and thorns in the trails leading up to it. The trail that leads back behind it has artifacts out of it’s time such as a couple abandoned cars and a few creepy dolls in the middle of the walkway.
